New Folders

Some of you may already know this, but we've recently added a new Cosplay & Textile Goods folder to the club! So, for all you fans out there who love to create costumes and dress up like your favorite Sonic character can now submit your cosplays and textile stuff to us!

Now, after discussing it with the admins, we know that with one of the rules we have is that we only accept work that you've created 100% yourself. We know for a fact that it's incredibly difficult to make every little thing 100% yourself when it comes to creating costumes. So, we've decided for the Cosplay & Textile Goods folder only, as long as you've created about 30%-40% of the costume yourself, you're welcome to submit it!

So show us all your cosplays and textile goods Sonic fans!

In addition to the new cosplay folder, we now officially have a folder for Flash and Animations.

Literature Folder Additions/Improvements

Along with our new folder additions, we've also decided to revamp the Literature folder a little bit to enhance both exposure and the experience for our literary devotees.

For one, we've added some guidelines pertaining specifically to this folder, such as a minimum length of a submission as well as a three (3) chapter maximum per any work submitted. What that translates into is that for any body of continuous fan literary work you submit, we're only accepting three chapters from it. This will not only improve the quality of submissions entering the folder as it will only encourage writers to submit their most upstanding work. It will also potentially increase the amount of exposure they receive by encouraging the reader to read subsequent chapters/pieces within their own galleries.

We've also added a Poetry and Prose subfolder within the main folder for those members who also happen to be poets at heart.

Want a really epic Sonic wallpaper for your computer’s desktop? Well now you can! We'll shortly set up a widget allowing you to download wallpapers. Once in a while, the admin team will find wallpapers that we would love to showcase and expose to the club for our members to download. Or, if you find or create really neat wallpaper and want to share it with us, feel free to drop us a note!

This week's (or month's) Featured Artist is ~Nyanana, who is yet another freshly new deviant. In the short few months that they've been active, I've had a chance to glimpse at their very cute take on Sonic and co. Their sense of color, proportion, and shading is fairly strong for someone so young, and I did a bit of a double take upon seeing their age on their profile page. I hope that we all get to see bigger and better things coming from this deviant now and for many years to come.
